Mineraria in Italiy
The laboratory
The Boca Mining Laboratory is equipped with the necessary instrumentation for the control of raw materials.
Specifically, it is capable of performing:
Determination of the main technological parameters.
Viscosity, DAP (bulk density), Electrical conductivity, Modulus of rupture, Sintering, Colorimetric readings (L, a, b)
Determination of the content of the 8 main oxides and semi-quantitative evaluation of other ancillary elements
FRX analysis
C/S determination
Determination of carbonate content
Mineraria di Boca also has the ability to develop products according to the needs of its customers, proposing combinations of raw materials and/or End of Waste.
The commitment to research and development of new technologies and materials of use, offers opportunities constantly in step with the continuous evolution of the market.
Bocciole Mine
Boca (NO)
The main mine and major crushing, grinding and drying facilities are located here.
Products grown in the Bocciole mine are lean kaolinitic clays that are easy to grind and used for glazed porcelain stoneware bodies.
Marello Mine
Maggiora(NO)
The rock mined in the Marello mine, processed and sorted into various sizes for various types of grinding, is a natural mixture of quartz potassium feldspar and clay materials and is an important component in the ceramic industry.
Croso del Sasso Mine
Lozzolo (VR)
CL1 flux identified as partially altered porphyry is extracted from the Lozzolo mine.
Crushing, screening and mixing from the various excavation fronts make it a consistently suitable product for porous and greified ceramic mixtures.
It is also offered dried for dry grinding.
Badde Lacana Mine
Mores (SS)
The sand commercially named SCE is located in Mores (SS), Sardinia. The mine we own has potential for several million cubic meters, geologically it is slightly alkaline sedimentary in nature, with the presence of potassic feldspar and a constant presence of smectite.
Its low iron oxide content makes it particularly suitable in technical or glazed stoneware mixes.
Pala Asonis Mine
Laconi (OR)
Sardinian clays and bentonites originate from the Sarcidano region,in south-central Sardinia and particularly in the municipal area of Laconi (OR).
The clay complex consists of a sequence of well-stratified clay levels, varying in color from gray-green, to red, to black. As far as bentonites are concerned we are within the Tertiary lithologies represented in our case by the calcareous-alkaline volcanic complex dated to the Oligo-Miocene, on these deposits we find the presence of more or less powerful lenses of bentonite ore.

Le nostre sedi
Casalgrande (RE)
BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES AND LABORATORIES
Major investments to support research, development and service,
made at the Casalgrande facility, are a source of pride in order to
obtain collaborations with customers and partners for the continuous and creative
study of ceramics.
Fiorano Modenese (Mo)
PLANT, MIXING RAW MATERIALS
The ceramic body raw materials warehouse and mixing center is located in Fiorano Modenese, with an area of 8,000 Sq.
Covered and an in-house handling capacity of 250,000 tons/year approx. of bulk minerals. In agreement with ceramics, technically suitable and cost-effective slurry mixtures are distributed.
Sassuolo (MO)
RAW MATERIAL STORAGE
The Sassuolo warehouse, with its area of 20,000 sq. m. and two warehouses of 1,200 sq. m. in total, enables the company to guarantee its customers in the ceramic district a raw material storage service.
This ensures the highest quality on the processing carried out at the Fiorano Modenese site.
Cerreto di Spoleto (PG)
BAGGING PLANT
The plant located in Ponte Sargano is engaged in the processing, grinding and bagging of raw materials for various industrial uses.
